Years in review: 2004–2005–2006
Erin and I got married in July, and spent our honeymoon in Ireland. But we weren’t the only happy couples in 2005: Jing Jing got married, and Herb & Karen got engaged.
On the social front, a bunch of us got really into BSG. I finally made it to Petco Park, and Sheehe came to visit.
Work-wise, I left Tomo in May and became EVDB’s employee #6.
I (unofficially) went to ETech and RubyConf, both of which were in San Diego. Tag Camp in Palo Alto was my first unconference; here are my slides.
I launched emacsen.org, started using backpack, and realized that I was, for all intents and purposes, reading the whole Internet.
Here’s a list of everywhere I stayed in 2005.
